Nostalgia and excitement were in the air after Lionel Messi shared a series of photos on his official Instagram account posing inside Camp Nou, where he brought so much joy to Barcelona and soccer fans.
However, this post has led the captain of the Argentine national team to steal a record from his eternal rival on the field, Cristiano Ronaldo.

Messi is in Eche with Lionel Scaloni's team to play a friendly match against Angola on Friday, November 14. However, he took advantage of his free time to visit the club where he won 35 titles in 17 seasons and from which he retired in August 2021.
In just over 24 hours, the photos taken by his Argentina and Inter Miami teammate, Rodrigo De Paul, have gone viral.

In fact, with more than 27.8 million likes and 820,000 comments at the time of writing, Leo's post ranks as one of the 20 most reacted to posts in the history of Instagram.
In doing so, he surpassed the record set by Cristiano Ronaldo with his post of Portugal lifting the Nations League trophy after defeating Spain in June, which reached 23 million likes at the time.
The truth is that this post accompanies another memorable post by Leo, which today ranks first in the history of the platform: his photo lifting the 2022 World Cup, when he defeated France on penalties and became champion for the first time, surpassing 74 million likes.
