Luis Suarez's renewal with the Herons seems to be on hold and in the meantime, Miami are already preparing to convince Robert Lewandowski, a player who in turn would not renew his contract with the Catalan club. However, a player of the Polish striker's stature, and at zero cost, is too tempting an option for clubs looking for a proven striker in great shape, regardless of his 37 years of age.
A few months before the end of his contract with Barcelona, the name of the Polish striker is beginning to be strongly linked with a move to Miami, a very attractive destination for a player with few years of career ahead of him.

Lewandowski and Barcelona: A cycle that is coming to an end
Robert Lewandowski is in the final year of his contract with Barcelona and although the Polish striker is still showing his worth, his age is a huge impediment to the Catalan club's renewal policies. This situation has opened the door to multiple speculations about his departure at the end of the season.
From the Barcelona board, a farewell to Lewandowski would also allow them to free up salary space and accelerate the renewal of the squad, led by young players such as Lamine Yamal, Pedri, Fermin Lopez, Alejandro Balde and Pau Cubarsi.
And while Lewandowski's numbers are enviable for any striker, 109 goals in 154 games, Barcelona do not seem to suffer too much without the Pole on the pitch and that is why they would make the decision to look to the future.

Inter Miami enters the race
From Poland, the rumors have not been long in growing. On the program Moca Futbolu, former footballer Marek Jozwiak said that "in Miami they are already looking for a house", a phrase that triggered speculation and placed Inter Miami as the main candidate to sign Lewandowski.
The Florida club wants to repeat a formula that has worked well for them: surround Lionel Messi with experienced, winning European figures. So, if they were to dispense with Luis Suarez, Lewandowski would be a perfect replacement.
The coaching staff, headed by Javier Mascherano, would have different tactical options as Lewandowski has proven to be very effective both as a lone striker and with a two-striker system. And without a doubt for MLS, it would be another blow that would reinforce the international visibility of the North American league.
Where will Lewandowski play next season?
Inter Miami is not the only one interested. Lewandowski has also attracted the interest of clubs in Europe who still see the Polish striker as a reinforcement to consider up front, such as Milan, who could be interested in making an offer for Lewandowski. He has also been tempted by Saudi Arabian football, where he would receive a considerably higher financial offer. However, the sporting appeal, quality of life and the possibility of playing alongside Messi are determining factors.
