Trent's message after punishment for tardiness: "Madrid and nothing else"

The derby between Real Madrid and Atletico Madrid, which Alvaro Arbeloa's team won, began with a surprise in the starting line-up: the inclusion of Carvajal and the substitution of Trent, who had established himself with the Madrid coach on the right flank.

As MARCA exclusively reported, the former Liverpool player arrived late to one of the week's training sessions and Arbeloa punished him by leaving him on the bench in the Santiago Bernabeu duel. The first captain took his place, but Trent ended up entering the field in the 64th minute and was key in the 3-2 play scored by Vinicius moments later.

After the match, Trent posted a blunt message on his social networks in which he made clear his commitment to the team despite this episode. "Madrid and nothing else," posted the Real Madrid player in a carousel of photos that was answered by Vini himself. "My guy, T," wrote the Brazilian.

Trent will be one of the players who will not be leaving in this international break after being left out of Thomas Tuchel's squad again.
