Daniel Riolo, the RMC Sport journalist who published an erroneous diagnosis on Mbappe's knee, has insisted on RMC's 'After Foot' program that his information is correct despite the Real Madrid forward denying that he was examined in Madrid on the wrong knee.

French journalist for Radio Monte Carlo first reported that Real Madrid's medical service got the wrong knee and that this prompted the Real Madrid star's departure to France to seek a second opinion
