Mbappé's ambitious plan with Real Madrid to be in top form for the World Cup

Kylian Mbappe spoke to Telefoot from France's training camp in the United States. Mbappe reminded that the team is still in the fight for the titles. "We are still involved in the two remaining competitions, LaLiga and the Champions League," he said. On Europe, he focused on the next clash. "We are going to play against Bayern, which I think is the most in-form team in Europe right now."

Even so, he made clear the team's approach. "But if there is a team that can beat that kind of team, it is Real Madrid," he said. The striker was confident in the white team's chances at this decisive stage. He also referred to the context surrounding him in Spain. "People are very passionate. For them Real Madrid is a religion. Everything to do with the club and with me generates a combination that makes everyone talk and speculate. Sometimes rightly, sometimes not," he said.

Mbappe assumed that scenario as part of the club. "At Real Madrid they have criticised everyone, Cristiano Ronaldo, everyone. I don't see why I should escape that kind of criticism," he said. Finally, he explained how he deals with this situation. "You have to deal with criticism. Keep calm, focus on your work and have the confidence to believe that you can improve the situation on the pitch."
