The winners of the The Best FIFA Football Awards 2025 will be announced on Tuesday, December 16, 2025, at 20:00 local time (18:00 CET), at a special ceremony that will be streamed live on FIFA.com from Doha, Qatar.

On the eve of the FIFA Intercontinental Cup between Paris Saint-Germain and CR Flamengo at the Ahmad bin Ali Stadium, the best players and coaches of 2025 will be announced at the FIFA Gala Dinner at the Katara Hall, located in the Fairmont Hotel complex in Doha. Before that, and through videos published on FIFA's portals and social networks, the awards for best fan or supporter, goalkeepers and goals, as well as the Fair Play award, will also be announced.

Among the nominees for the men's The Best award are the Blaugrana players Lamine Yamal, Pedri and Rapinha; Real Madrid's Kylian Mbappe or the players of the current European champion, Paris Saint-Germain, Vitinha, Nuno Mendes, Ousmane Dembele, current Ballon d'Or winner, and Achraf Hakimi, best player in Africa in 2025, among others.

In the women's category, Barcelona players Patri Guijarro, Aitana Bonmati, Ewa Pajor, Claudia Pina, Alexia Putellas and Mariona Caldentey, European champion with Arsenal, are nominated.

Among other categories, the award for Best Coach will also be presented, with Javier Aguirre (Mexico), Mikel Arteta (Arsenal), Luis Enrique (Paris Saint-Germain), Hansi Flick (Barcelona), Enzo Maresca (Chelsea), Roberto Martinez (Portugal) and Arne Slot (Liverpool) in the running.

The dinner will bring together 800 guests, including the FIFA president, members of the FIFA Council, FIFA Legends, representatives from member associations from around the world and other local and regional representatives, as well as other personalities from the world of football.

16 million votes

As always, the more than 16 million votes from fans were instrumental in selecting the winners in the various categories, which include the The Best FIFA Women's Player, The Best FIFA Men's Player, The Best FIFA Women's Coach, The Best FIFA Men's Coach, The Best FIFA Women's Goalkeeper and The Best FIFA Men's Goalkeeper. The winners were decided by a system that gives equal weight to the votes of fans; current captains and coaches of men's and women's national teams; and media representatives. Fans also voted in the The Best FIFA Women's XI and The Best FIFA Men's XI categories

Similarly, fan votes and those of a panel of FIFA Legends carried equal weight in deciding the winners of the FIFA Marta Award and the FIFA Puskas Award (for the best goal in both women's and men's football). Fans exclusively decided the winner of the FIFA Fan Award, while a panel of experts decided the winner of the FIFA Fair Play Award.
