Barcelona and PSG have reached an agreement for the transfer of Dro to the French club. The two clubs had been negotiating the midfielder's departure for several days and have now reached an agreement whereby the French club will pay eight and a half million euros to Barcelona. The player will join PSG immediately after training on his own for several days. The contracts have yet to be signed and made official.

Ten days ago, Ivan de la Pena, the player's agent, informed the club that the player wanted to leave by paying the six million euros that the termination clause cost. The news was a blow to the Spanish club, who did not expect this move by Dro, as throughout the season Hansi Flick had integrated him into the dynamics of the first team, with which he had made his debut last September.

The coach was the one who was most angry with his player's decision. From that moment on, he removed him from the first team and any other team at the club, so Dro had to train on his own from Friday 16, when he announced that he was going to leave.

Since then, both clubs have negotiated a transfer of the player rather than executing the release clause. Both would benefit: Barcelona, because they would receive more than the six million that the player's freedom would cost, and PSG, because they would also pay less money by not having to pay so many taxes. After some back and forth, both clubs have reached a definitive agreement.
