A new trophy to add to the shelf: on Thursday, Real Madrid stars Kylian Mbappé and Jude Bellingham were honored as members of the 2025 FIFPRO Men's World 11 and posed with their statuettes.
This ideal team is chosen and voted on solely by soccer players from around the world, organized by the International Federation of Professional Footballers (FIFPRO), with the Frenchman and the Englishman being the only ones from the Merengue squad.
Jude and Kylian, pride of Real Madrid
To choose the best eleven, voters select three candidates for each position (goalkeeper, defender, midfielder, and forward) based on their performance between July 15, 2024, and August 3, 2025. The three most voted players in each position are chosen, except for the goalkeeper, where only one is selected.
'Kiki' finished his 2024/25 season, his first in a white shirt, with 44 goals and five assists. He also became LaLiga's top scorer and was honored with the 'Golden Boot'. This is the sixth time in his career that he has received this award.
Bellingham, meanwhile, was the most voted player. He scored 15 goals (nine in LaLiga and three in the Champions League) and provided 15 assists last season, creating multiple scoring opportunities. He is currently recovering from a muscle injury. This is the third time Jude has received the trophy in his career.
Following the achievement, Real Madrid's official Instagram account honored its players and shared a photo of both stars with their awards: "KM10 x JB5 x FIFPRO Men's World 11 trophies," they wrote alongside the photo.
The club's fans were quick to show their support and affection for Mbappé and Bellingham: "They deserve that and much more," "Best midfielder and best striker," "Best players in the world," "Our boys are handsome" were some of the messages the two players received. "Let's go" and "Hala Madrid" replied Kylian.
Meanwhile, the ideal 11 is made up of: Gianluigi Donnarumma in goal; Achraf Hakimi, Virgil van Dijk, and Nuno Mendes in defense; Vitinha, Pedri, Jude Bellingham, and Cole Palmer in midfield; and Lamine Yamal, Ousmane Dembélé, and Kylian Mbappé in attack.
Meanwhile, Kylian and Jude will travel to the Mestalla Stadium to face Valencia CF this Sunday, February 8.
